Updates

Last week was tiring. Gearing up for preparation to the conference, running the conference, leaving straight after work to be at the wake was no joke. By the end of the 1st day, I had collapsed into bed for an almost undisturbed sleep through the night, which is a rare affair these days, seeing that I am awoken for no reason a few times each night.

Through the grace of God, no one fell ill after the week and I am very glad to say that the conference ended on a rather good note. The boss was rather happy and the keynote speakers, five in total, were happy. I took half of Friday off to rest and to let things settle down within me. I suppose I will miss kao fu very much. But this part of the extended family is rather close-knit, and I'm glad we have one another around with us.

Baby is growing well, and I never fail to be amazed at the size of my tummy everytime I look at it. He's moving throughout the day now, and it can be quite distracting at work. This is because of the "alien effect". Each movement is now visible, and depending on the intensity, the tummy blobs, jumps, does a wave, or just gives a slight rumble like scale 2 on the richter. He's now grinding his joints and limbs against the tummy, hence little rounded lumps appear once in a while. Can you imagine how it feels like? Should I take a video and post it up??
