Lunch at Equinox!

The Department went out for a sumptous meal at the Equinox, on the 70th floor of the Swissotel Stamford. It used to be the Compass Rose Restaurant of the Westin Stamford, now renamed as Swissotel Stamford.

We had the high tea, and it costed $45. Food was yummy, and I didnt eat $45 worth of food haha.

Cruising Through...

God has been most gracious in letting us go for a refreshing, resting trip, though I must say we chiong-ed it out for the holiday. Derod and I have concluded several things:

1. Cruise is fun! (at least for the 1st time, which means to say that we'll most probably not hit it another time)

2. The company is of extreme importance. YE and avgal, our fellow companions, are the best people to eat, talk rubbish, slack and of course, take seow photos with.

3. Service on the ship is GREAT. I've not encountered a single moment where the level of service is even questionable. Derod says it makes up for the tiny cabin, so-called lack of activities and being cooped up on the ship.

4. Titanic poses are possible! Hahaz

Sigh I wished I had more energy and time in recollecting all the great moments that took place but alas... But I'm glad we went, despite the efforts both derod and myself have to engage in to ensure all work is done/ covered before we left. I am truly refreshed! Verdict: holidays are important; we should take more holidays, more often *hee*

You know you're growing old when...

~ The baby you prayed a blessing for at Mt. Alvernia started Primary 1
~ You saw your pastor propose, get married and his child pass PSLE
~ You can no longer recover from 2-3 nights of tonning simply by a straight 16 hours of sleep
~ Your body clock wakes you up at 7 am everyday, including sundays and public holidays
~ You cant sleep past 9.30 am and actually decide to get up instead of slumping in bed
~ Your parents are grand aunties and uncles
~ People are seriously advising you to have babies, before you get tooo old to recover easily
~ Kids are calling you "auntie" instinctively
~ You are seriously motivated to moisturize
~You slept 6 hours and still feel and act like a zombie at work at 10am the next day!!
