It's official. I'm going for a holiday! It'll be a nice way to wrap up the month of June, after the exhibition I'm coordinating ends, leave a week or so to settle things, shop, pack and whadayaknow? It'll be holiday time.

Busy Holidays

The last couple of weeks seemed to have some anticipation hanging in the air, since a string of public holidays have been scheduled to take place. As a result, some phenomena took place:

- I'm supposed to work less, with May Day, Vesak Day, and the newly added Election Day. But as I have to ensure the same amount of work (oops! I meant more work, since we're preparing for some high profile events) gets done, I end up working more!
- But yet, there's this holiday mood in the air, plus school's closed and we dont have to spend 20 minutes queuing for lunch now, and the two colleagues who share my office are not around. Mood's everything you noe... ; p
- I feel soooo tired. You see, Joyce got married and I was chief ah yee. Woke up at 4 am to reach her place at 5 am and didnt sleep till 2.30am the following morning. Short of 1.5 hours, I'd have had a 24-hour day! Then, no chance to catch up on sleep. My mum said I didnt even wake up this early for my own wedding. How right!

And there's those increased number of family gatherings with all these holidays, and food food food. How to diet?? Then everyone's conversation everywhere is about the elections, PAP, opposition... the country's hot topic, literally.

So well, what's the conclusion when we're anticipating another public holiday this week? Still look forward to it ; )
