Magazines Galore

In an attempt to keep my brain from deteriorating, and to keep pace with what's happening around the world while I'm faced with walls and a baby, derod and I decided to subscribe to the Straits Times. Along with that is my request for National Geographic, something I'd always wanted to read regularly.

We chanced upon a roadshow at the shopping mall near our home, calling for subscriptions to the above! So the first stop was to secure the NG, followed by the ST. Turns out if we subscribe to ST, we could get some free issues of various magazines: 6 months of Her World, Shape, etc and... 12 months of NG. *roll eyes and faint*

So now, we've got:
- Straits Times (daily)
- National Geographic (monthly)
- Her World (monthly)
- 8-days (weekly, previously subscribed)
- Motherhood (monthly, previously subscribed)


Looks like loads to read if you ask me but I'd say it's a good mix of trashy gossip and heavy-duty stuff. Not too bad, I think. Hee hee...
